Passion is something you must have, and be willing to express it if you really want to inspire others. Take a few seconds to ponder something that you feel passionate about. Maybe it’s a person. Perhaps, a career; maybe, it is a hobby, a cause, or an idea. Passion is one of the things that can make us feel alive. That can give us purpose. That can inspire others and spur them on to greater things. Passion is a conduit for self-betterment, for the growth and advancement of the human race, for a better world, or work environment. Of course we have to be careful, and mindful not to let it blind us, and should always be tempered with self-awareness and consideration of others and the wider world. But, you can gain a lot of influence just by publically expressing that you are excited and passionate about a topic. Although it is entirely possible to share and demonstrate passion in a calm, quiet and subtle manner. My message- don’t be scared to be passionate about what you do. You make it much harder to inspire others if you are boring and unenthusiastic. Expressive passion is contagious because of the curiosity it stirs in others. You’ll get people wondering why you love what you love so much. Naturally, some of them will take the time necessary to understand what it is about the topic that moves you so.
